When you find someone bullying you by calling with nick names or gay, tease while using the restrooms, or attacking you physically, you generally feel bad about it and try to avoid the entire situation. So, you would tell your parents that you are not ready to school or any other classes, without telling the actual reasons for it. This is not the right way to approach the problem.

Always share the exact problem with your parents, as they are your first best friends. Your parents can help you in overcoming the problem. If you feel that your parents should not come to your school or class, let them know about it. They will teach you as to how you can avoid or ignore the problem by yourself. If the situation goes completely out of hands, your parents would know how to tackle it from their end. There is completely no need of getting disturbed emotionally about the bullying incident, as you have not committed any mistake.
